Wheatmeal Muffins

 
300 g wheatmeal flour 
20 g sugar 
2 tsps baking powder
½ tsp salt 
1 egg 
125 ml milk
6 tbsps salad oil 
2 tbsps sesame seeds 
oil for coating
 
1.  Preheat the oven to 200oC (400oF). Coat the muffins tray or foil cups with vegetable oil. 

2.  Combine the flour, sugar, salt and baking powder in a large bowl. 

3.  Combine the milk, egg and salad oil. Stir to form a thick dough. 

4.  Scoop the batter into the muffin cups and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown. Cool the muffins on wire rack. Serve warm. 
 
Makes 12 muffins.
