1 pie shell (see

2 egg whites |
1 cup peeled apple, grated
Ice cream (optional) |
1 cup granulated sugar |
1. Prick pie shell all over with a
fork. Preheat oven to 200oC (400oF) and bake for
10 to 15 minutes.
2. Beat egg whites until thick. Gradually beat in sugar and apple until stiff. 3. Turn into baked pie shell. Bake in 180oC (350oF) oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until set. 4. Cool and top with ice cream to serve. Makes 1 pie. |
