Margarine Pie Shells

 
450 g (1 lb) cold margarine 
5 cups all-purpose flour 
1 tsp baking powder 
½ cup cold water
½ tsp salt
 
1.  Cut margarine into flour, salt and baking powder in mixing bowl until mixture is crumbly.  

2.  Sprinkle water over top. Mix with fork and press into large ball. If needed, add a bit more water (1 to 2 tablespoons). 

3.  Divide into 4 parts and roll into pie shells (about 7 to 8). 
 
Makes 7 to 8 pie shells.
