Crumble Cookies

 
250 g all-purpose flour 
1 tsp baking powder 
200 g margarine
3 tbsps whipping cream 
3 tsps vanilla sugar
½ very coarse sugar 
1 egg yolk
 
1.  Preheat oven to 200oC (400oF). Sift flour and baking powder. Mix with margarine, cream and vanilla sugar until it forms a dough. Chill for 30 minutes. 

2.  Roll out the dough. Cut out shapes with cookie-cutters. Brush thinly with egg yolk and sprinkle very coarse sugar over each cookie. 

3.  Arrange the cookies on a baking sheet. Bake for 8 minutes or until golden brown.
